Thanks to sophisticated change management, LDorado helps to avoid additional revision work in the event of changes. Cable set variants can be implemented more quickly.

With the integration of CAD models and the generation of reusable vehicle electrical system data, LDorado supports production-optimized cost management. This means that a wide range of options for implementing on-board electrical system concepts are also available for the manufacturing process.

      How is the MAC address generated?

      Windows
      Start a command shell by typing: cmd in the Windows menu search box and then Enter. A command line window opens. Enter: ipconfig /all. All your system network adapters will be listed. Find an adapter with a network connection and copy the physical address. This consists of 6 x 2-digit hexadecimal numbers separated by hyphens.

      Linux/Unix
      Open a terminal and enter the following command: ifconfig. Confirm with Enter.
      Look for the network eth0, depending on distribution it can also have a different name. The line with ether specifies the MAC ID: Here are 6 x 2-digit hex numbers separated by a colon.

      The circuit diagram is the basis of a successful electrical systems project.

      With the circuit diagram editor LDorado Gole SE, the complete electrical connections of a vehicle are developed and documented as single sheets or within the context of a project structure.

      LDorado Gole SE contains a complete variant and option management.

      Existing system plans / cable plans can be adopted on the basis of standardized exchange formats such as KBL or ElogXML.

      The circuit diagram content generated in the development process can also be used with or prepared for customer service documentation with LDorado Gole SE.

      LDorado Gole SE is an integral part of the LDorado Engineering Package. The LDorado Engineering Package is completed by LDorado Design, LDorado Project Explorer and LDorado Tweaker.

      View and analyze LDorado Gole SE documents

      LDorado Gole SE Viewer is the free tool for viewing and analyzing LDorado Gole SE documents in their original format.

      This data can be available to the user either as single sheets or multi-sheet projects. All document structures such as components, plugs, cables, cable harnesses, modules etc. are retained during "viewing" and can be used to highlight or hide drawing parts. It is also possible to navigate via line references and distributed objects within the project structure.

      The viewer is available to all customers who have purchased either LDorado Gole SE, LDorado Design or LDorado Engineering Package.

      Electrical Schematics and Topology

      Wiring harness drawings are created from the electrical and topological data with LDorado Design. It is also possible to construct a completely new installation in LDorado Design, while existing electrical data can be used to support this.

      The CAT.KBL interface for LDorado is able to bi-directionally synchronize CATIA models with the LDorado modules via the KBL format. With the help of the LDorado Design 2D layout functionality, 3D installation data can be conveniently and directly transferred to a 2D drawing.

      In LDorado design cable strands can be developed in a 150% representation. A 150% drawing contains all possible options and variants of a wiring harness, whereby corresponding configurations can represent a vehicle-specific 100% view.

      Changes to the wiring harness can be easily documented, and tracked across the entire development process using the digital change documentation (Amend).

      With LDorado Design, complete form board drawings can be derived from the wiring harness drawings. Additional documentation, such as HP-GL / 2, parts lists and cable lists, can also be generated directly from the cable harness data. Further production-relevant data for testing, cutting, welding, isolating, sealing etc. are provided directly.

      Graphical Symbols drawn fast and easily

      The SVG symbol creation for circuit diagram and wiring harness drawing is done with LDorado Tweaker. Symbols can be imported as DXF or SVG files, and are prepared and exported as SVG files for use in the corresponding LDorado modules.

      LDorado Tweaker is an integral part of the LDorado Engineering Package. The LDorado Engineering Package is completed by LDorado Gole SE, LDorado Project Explorer and LDorado Design.

      Viewing LDorado design drawings

      LDorado Design Viewer is the free tool for viewing and analyzing LDorado Design documents in their original format.

      By embedding the symbols used or directly accessing the original LDorado Design master database, an exact representation is guaranteed, as in LDorado Design. All document structures (modules, routes, connectors, etc.) are retained during viewing, and can be used to highlight or hide drawing parts.

      The use of original components from LDorado Design ensures exact matching of the viewing results with the original presentation in LDorado Design.

      Visualizing and Preparation of  KBL and LDorado Documents

       LDorado Vestigo enables the visualization and analysis of the resulting electrical system data. Recurring work steps are automated with the help of the included macro functionalities. LDorado Vestigo evaluates the data and makes it available as a PDF, parts list or Excel document. In conjunction with LDorado Design, the results can be transferred directly to the wiring system document.

      Time and quantity calculations

      LDorado Cost Accounting 2.0 enables flexible definition / transfer of customer-specific business logic with regard to manufacturing information (e.g. planning times).

      As part of the calculation, the on-board electrical system data in KBL / HCV format are consumed from the upstream processes and, according to the defined calculation logic, each element of the wiring harness is provided with the correct manufacturing time and the amount of material used.

      On the basis of this "time-quantity calculation", the resulting cost components can be viewed and the prices calculated using the material price information and various parameters.

      For every step of the calculation process, LDorado Cost Accounting 2.0 offers the option of conveniently and efficiently analyzing, verifying, or exporting the resulting results to output formats.

      The customer-specific calculation logic is created and maintained centrally on the server side and is thus made available to any number of workplaces for the calculation in a process-reliable manner.

      LDorado is now integrated into the Capital tool portfolio. Harness data created with LDorado can be seamlessly integrated to allow easy transfer of the manufacturing process data with Capital harness manufacturing tools. Design changes are critical to the wire harness development flow and can be applied to provide an instant update for any derivative or KSK module with this integration. In addition, library and symbol data can be easily synchronized between LDorado and Capital.

      LDorado provides an integrated harness development environment to support whole vehicle projects. This is essential for a successful harness engineering process.

      LDorado Teamwork supports the standard automotive data exchange formats, KBL and VEC. This enables accurate change management support as well as clear manufacturing definition, with immediate data flow to all derivatives. Projects in LDorado are version controlled enabling approval for the production or further downstream processes. LDorado not only integrates harness sub-systems to vehicle level harness data but can also validate that data according to design and security rules whilst offering the capability to easily navigate a complete digital representation of the vehicle.
